Terms & Conditions

Cancellations: Tubers are a perishable product, therefore, once in order is placed, it is final sale. However, we reserve the right to cancel an order and fully refund your order during our quality checks, in case of defective tubers.

Limits: We are limiting certain varieties to ensure more people can grow some of our more rarer dahlias.

Shipping & Pickup: Our dahlia tubers are exclusively grown in Canada and are available for shipping within the country only. We ship our tubers when the weather conditions are optimal, typically around mid-April to May. Shipping all orders are shipped via Canada Post. Pickup is available at the farm, please note, the barn is still closed for the season and will only be open on the pick-up dates specified below.

Local Pickup Dates at the Farm:

 Saturday, April 26th | 11 AM - 2 PM

 Saturday, May 3rd | 11 AM - 2 PM

This gives you the option to pot up your tubers early if you wish! All remaining dahlia tubers stock will be for sale in the barn during the above dates/times, as an in-person dahlia tuber sale event. (More details to come soon, stay tuned).

Tuber Guarantee: thank you for supporting our small farm, we guarantee your tubers will be true to our description and arrive with at least one viable eye. We are committed to supporting you with detailed growing instructions included with your purchase. Our dahlias are meticulously divided and sanitized to ensure the best start for your garden. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us at info@valhavenfarm.ca within five days of your order arriving, if you have any concerns. We are not responsible for tubers gone bad, due to weather, rot, insect damage, poor soil, and conditions for neglect.

Combined Orders: We cannot add or remove items from an order, after payment has been processed successfully. However, we can combine orders for you when shipping, if you’d like to make additional purchases. If you’d like to add to an existing order that requires shipping, at checkout you must do the following: use the same name /shipping address and select the “Combine Shipping” option.
